Rivers, to overnight outings, long weekend, a week or longer on Maine and eastern Canadian Rivers. Give us a call to discuss your
group's objectives, duration and dates that work best for you. Along with trip logistics, Canoe the Wild can provide all necessary
equipment to make your canoe trip safe and enjoyable.
Schools: Connecting students outdoors with a focus on teaching outdoor
living skills while promoting teamwork and student leadership roles.
Maine Summer Camps: Summer camp owners and directors, expand
your program offerings through Canoe the Wild. We can fully or partially outfit your summer camp canoe trip on a Maine or Canadian
river.
Church Youth & Teen Groups: Minister with your young people in an environment free of high tech "gadgetry"
distractions. The wilderness is full of object lessons that can present biblical lessons in a unique and effective way.
Adults
& Families: Mens, ladies, parent/teen and families
Leadership & Safety: We understand the importance of maintaining a
safe environment. Our registered Maine Guides have the skills and proven experience to lead wilderness canoe trips. We review trip
protocols with all participants prior to going downriver. When necessary, we provide basic instruction in safe canoemanship and wilderness
travel. The safety and well-being of everyone is of utmost importance while on trips.
Just need a guide? We can provide
a Maine guide for most Maine outings for $275.00/day plus mileage (travel expense) to and from the river.
