Maine Canoe Trips

Choose the St. Croix River for easy to moderate whitewater fun for the whole family and groups. The Allagash is Maine's most famous canoe trip with lakes, easy river sections, lively Chase Stream Rips and is best for spotting moose! Webster Stream, the East branch of the Penobscot and the Machias River offer challenging whitewater canoeing while the West branch of the Penobscot and Baskahegan Stream are a good choice for soft adventure.

Day Trips on Baskahegan Stream. Trips at first light can be a breath taking experience as the sun greets a new day. Wildlife tends to be more active during the early morning hours and this can be a great time to spot moose.
