A world of wilderness adventure awaits you just across the border. Let Canoe the Wild introduce you to our northern neighbor with a trip on one of Canada’s pristine rivers. We offer a variety of canoe trips in Quebec including the Bonaventure, NE Mistissibi and de Pas Rivers, and the Liard River in the Yukon.
Beginning in the heart of the Chic Choc Mountains, this river winds its way through 80 miles of scenic countryside to the Bay of Chaleur. It boasts numerous class II rapids, quick water, and no lengthy portages. Although this is not a physically demanding trip, it does require good paddling skills. The Bonaventure is an excellent canoe trip for teens and adults. (more info)

Other Canoe Trips in Canada
Cascapedia River, Gaspe, Quebec
Come join us for a 5 day canoeing adventure. The Gaspe is a long haul from anywhere; although there are small fishing villages scattered along the peninsula’s edge, the interior is virtually uninhabited.
We will arrange to meet guests the day prior to the start date in Houlton or Presque Isle, Maine, to which air service is available. We will travel to Quebec and stay at a motel in the town of New Richmond.
After breakfast on Day 1, we will meet up with our Canadian associates. There, we’ll be shuttled to the put-in and spend five days paddling to the sea. On our last day we will take out mid morning and travel back to our original starting point in Maine, spending one motel night en route.
